The nation is becoming increasingly more diverse as seen in the age group under 18 years old and in the 18-39 year old age group. The Hispanic population grew in both of these younger age groups between 2010 and 2018. In the age group 65 years and older whites represent the largest population group and saw the largest growth between 2010 and 2018. These demographic shifts portend changes to our educational, economic and government institutions as they adapt to incorporate these ongoing population changes.
